La pointe du Raz, Great Site of France
The Pointe du Raz site is located in Cap Sizun, 1 hour's drive from the Hortensias campsite in Loctudy. It is a must for your holidays in Finistère. An exceptional protected natural site, the point faces the Isle de Sein from the top of its 70 m cliffs overlooking the Iroise Sea.
It is certainly a breath of fresh air that you will take at the Pointe du Raz. With a breathtaking panorama: on a clear day you will be able to see the Penmarc'h lighthouse to the south of the Bay of Audierne as far as the Cap de la Chèvre on the Crozon peninsula via the Bay of Douarnenez.
The massive use of this sumptuous natural site over the decades has led the authorities to undertake restoration and protection work on the natural areas, which has now borne fruit, giving us a protected site with the Grand Site de France label.
The Maison du Site de la Pointe du Raz will help you discover the site through exhibitions, guided tours, shops and restaurants. The site is accessible all year round, parking is charged from April to October.
